2005 Telly Award Winner - Mopar TV Commercial, "Oakley Funny Car"

J.R. Thompson Company was recently recognized with a Telly “Winner” Award for its work on a Mopar television commercial, “Oakley Funny Car”, in the Institutional/Corporate Image category within the Regional TV and Multi-Market Cable category. J.R. Thompson put its core creative and technology services to work providing creative concept and art direction, post-production video compositing and editing, 3-D animation, music composition, and sound editing expertise.

The Telly Awards, a widely known and highly respected national and international competition founded in 1978, has strived to strengthen the visual arts community by inspiring, promoting and supporting creativity. The awards honor outstanding local, regional and cable television commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions.

Entries in the 2005 Telly Awards competition that receive scores of 9.0 or higher on a 10-point scale receive the “Winner” Silver Telly. Generally, fewer than 10 percent of all entries receive “Winner” status. J.R. Thompson’s entries were among 10,000 received for the 26th Annual Telly Awards judging.
